Sun tea is a cold-brewed iced tea made by steeping tea leaves in cold water and sunlight
HOW TO MAKE SUN TEA:
Fill a clear glass jar or beverage dispenser with cold water.
Add tea leaves: Depending on how strong you like your tea, add 2-3 teaspoons of tea leaves per every 1 cup (8 ounces) of water. You can also add other herbs like mint, hibiscus, or lavender to enhance the flavor. (Tip: place loose tea/herb leaves in a large tea ball or muslin/cotton bag for easy cleanup)
Place the jar in a sunny spot.
Allow the tea to steep for about 3 to 4 hours.
Once the desired strength is reached, remove the tea leaves and store the tea in the refrigerator to cool.
Serve (with ice if desired) and enjoy!
